This year, SIA has conducted an exciting survey: the VMS Global Landscape Survey! We asked for VMS platforms and their suppliers to participate in the survey in order to gain insight into the different tasks suppliers typically conduct when using VMS technologies. We were pleased to receive a total of 51 completed surveys – 13 of which were from MSPs and 38 from suppliers!
By posing 9 questions, we were able to focus on understanding common tasks typically conducted by suppliers when utilizing VMS technology. In order to ensure that the results of the survey were meaningful, we required each VMS platform to have a minimum of 3 completed surveys in order to participate in the report. Fortunately, 11 out of the 15 VMS participants met this criteria, allowing us to analyze 51 completed surveys!
We hope that these results help to further our understanding of the relationship between VMS platforms and their suppliers.
