For over a decade, Arise has pioneered a unique businesses model, providing infrastructure to a network of primarily at-home small independent businesses.  This infrastructure connects businesses that are capable of providing customer service, sales and technical support with Arise clients, which include many of the top Fortune 150 companies.

When trying to understand how the Arise Model works, it helps to keep the following in mind:

          Arise only does business with independently incorporated entities, not individuals.

The Arise Network is made up of call center companies – i.e., third party vendors that provide services to Arise clients.  All call center companies contract with Arise under a Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOWs).  Business owners use their own agents to handle customer service, sales and technical support for Arise’s clients – some of the most recognized brands in the world.

An individual who is interested in this type of business opportunity can use their preexisting company or start a new company if that is something that interests them.  If an individual does not want to run their own business, they may join an existing business already using the Arise Platform.  Whatever path you choose, Arise recommends that you obtain the advice of a qualified professional to address any specific legal or tax questions you may have.

Neither Business Owners nor their Agents are employees of Arise.

Arise projects are not jobs, but rather exciting work opportunities for small businesses run by stay-at-home moms, veterans, students, retirees and other entrepreneurial-minded individuals.  Accordingly, it is up to you or the business that you work with to choose what projects you will service, where you will provide services from, what schedule you will work and how many hours you will work, etc.  Along the same lines, it will be up to you or the business that you work with to supply the tools of the trade – computers, network connections, headsets, and the like.  Neither  business owners nor the agents who work for them are employees, agents, or legal representatives of Arise or Arise’s clients.

Business owners and their agents should not, at any time, represent to anyone that they are employees of Arise or any of Arise’s clients.  This includes listing Arise as their “employer” on loan applications and government forms or stating that they “work for” Arise or any of its clients. In addition, business owners and their agents should never ask lenders or other parties to call Arise to verify their income or financial status because Arise will not be able to provide this information.

Arise does not advise Business Owners on any matters related to the operation of their company.

Because the relationship between Arise and call center companies who use the Arise Platform is a business-to-business relationship, Arise does not dictate how a business owner should manage his or her company.  Business owners are free to compensate and manage their agents in any way they choose.  Additionally, Arise does not provide you or your employees with employee-type benefits (such as healthcare, 401K plans, etc.). If you start your own company, it is your responsibility to secure the benefits that you see fit, and if you decide to work with an existing  business, it is up to you to negotiate a compensation package with it.
