Groupe Crit SA, the Paris-based staffing firm with operations in the US, reported positive results for the first quarter of 2021 this week. Their revenue rose 11.3%, year-on-year, to €583.0 million (US$634.1 million), which included contributions from the acquisition of OK Job in December 2022. On an organic, constant currency basis, the company’s revenue increased by 6.4%.
Outside of France, their temporary staffing revenue increased 17.8% to €134.4 million (US$146.2 million), but on an organic, constant currency basis, there was a 5.5% fall. Meanwhile, US revenue dropped by 3.2%, to €63 million (US$68.5 million), although the company claimed that this held up well despite the recent labor market slowdown. This figure incorporates Peoplelink Staffing in South Bend, Indiana.
In France, Groupe Crit’s temporary staffing revenue rose 6.3% to €345.4 million (US$375.6 million). Expanding on this success, their nonstaffing multiservices division saw a 24.1% increase in revenue.
