Staffing firms are increasingly turning to cutting-edge technologies to increase their operational efficiency and drive growth. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is of particular interest, with 94% of staffing firms expecting to utilise it in some form over the coming five years. It’s therefore no surprise that many companies are already automating elements of their business processes – both on the temporary worker side and on the buyer client side.
Apps and platforms are also proving popular, with reported benefits including a boost in revenue. These technologies are expected to increasingly replace traditional operations in the future. According to the North America Staffing Company Survey from 2023, the average share of automated processes for temporary worker side had already risen to 53%, and to 29% on the buyer side – both figures at the higher end of their historical ranges.
Staffing firms are abuzz with the potential of these developments, and are looking to deploy them to experience a new wave of business opportunities.
